- Bochníček Z.: Up to the skies, Fair 24, Hradec Králové 2019
The paper is dedicated to origination of aerodynamic lift and its explanation using Newton’s laws of motion. This explanation prevents hardships and pitfalls connected to usage of Bernoulli’s equation. Another part describes the flight of birds and insects. Comments on the reasons behind differences between small and big flyers are included into the description of insect flight.
- Dvořák L.: Other ideas from Malá Hraštice: magnets’ repulsion, Fair 24, Hradec Králové 2019
The paper presents several experiments with simple equipment designed to measure the force between small magnets. These experiments were designed during spring training camp for future and present physics teachers at Malá Hraštice.
- Jakubičková J., Klinovská L.: Other ideas from Malá Hraštice: magnets’ repulsion, Fair 24, Hradec Králové 2019
The paper describes in detail the manufacturing process of making a speaker. In the second part, the possibilities of incorporating the speaker activity into the classroom are proposed.
- Kohout J.: Two capacitors paradox, Fair 24, Hradec Králové 2019
Presented paper serves as introduction to problematics of incorporating supercapacitors into upper secondary school physics education. It outlines some ways to use these interesting components to increase pupils' motivation and improve their understanding of capacitor function.
- Machalická J., Reichl J.: Couple of projects form summer camp, this time’s topic: „How little is enough to make mathematician and physicist happy“, Fair 24, Hradec Králové 2019
The paper describes another year of the Young Physicists and Mathematicians Camp organized by the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University in Prague, which took place at the Hořovice Cottage in Cholín. Attention is particularly given to three selected projects on which the participants worked.
- Vícha V.: Square bubbles, Fair 24, Hradec Králové 2019
A bubble blown from a small bubble blower takes shape of a perfect sphere. However, in this paper we will focus on the shape of square bubbles. Using graph theory, we will investigate whether square bubbles respect minimum surface.
- Vochozka V.: A quantitative evaluation of experiment „An egg in a bottle“, Fair 24, Hradec Králové 2019
Apparatus’ description and testing of measuring equipment due to which it is possible to quantitatively evaluate an experiment in which an egg is pushed into a bottle.
