- Bochníček Z.: What is the maximum acceleration of a car?, Fair 18, Hradec Králové 2013In the paper, we will find out how fast a car can accelerate and whether it is at all possible in normal life. We deal with 3 models of cars and the analysis of each model.
- Koudelková V., Dvořák L.: Three experiments inspired by secondary school students’ misconceptions about electricity and magnetism, Fair 18, Hradec Králové 2013The contribution describes three experiments which were inspired by the very frequent secondary school students’ misconceptions about electricity and magnetism. The first experiment relates to a charge on an insulator, the second one demonstrates qualitatively Coulomb’s law and the third experiment illustrates behaviour of a coil in a homogeneous magnetic field. The misconceptions are described as well as are the results of research that demonstrate a relevant misconception for each experiment respectively.
- Kundracik F.: The mystery of pipe acoustics, Fair 18, Hradec Králové 2013The paper provides information on the basic principles of the formation of tones in pipes and their tuning. It also presents some ideas for making simple pipes.
- Válek J., Sládek P.: The cycling physicist, Fair 18, Hradec Králové 2013Bicycle involves a lot of technical solutions. All of them are based on laws of physics, therefore bicycle is a suitable teaching aid at primary school. Riding techniques, pedalling, distribution of mass and aerodynamic shape are also important. Therefore, we can use bicycle as a connecting link between physics, technical education, informatics, physical and health education, and other subjects.
